Trestles Labor Management System (TLMS) is a cloud-based software application designed to enable self-performing contractors to improve short interval planning, scheduling and field reporting processes. The application embeds and institutionalizes pull planning and work packaging best practices, resulting in improvements in safety, quality, productivity and schedule reliability performance.
Trestles Labor Management System addresses the primary root cause of poor construction productivity, and the lack of effective planning and scheduling. Just eliminating paper, automating inefficient processes and rear-view mirror measures are not the solution to creating a positive step change in construction productivity.
Impact on Construction
TLMS enables my team to quickly create short interval plans at the task level, pre-plan hazard mitigation measures and identify and remove constraints prior to the commencement of work. This process prevents injuries, creates continuous flow, lowers labor cost, and improves productivity and schedule predictability while facilitating continuous improvement.
