App-Ready SmartTag™ by myTrackBuddy is a communication tool that helps users understand and share location-specific information with their team. By creating a physical, printable tag (such as Qrcode) that can be appended to equipment or project location, users can use their mobile devices to scan these tags and access location-specific information. Not only can users receive location-specific information (such as punchlists, inventory levels, safety hazards, etc.), but users can also communicate information (such as deficiencies, work hours, general notes, etc.). Information submitted and received by SmartTag™ managers can then be used to prompt responsive action, such as update timecards, purchase more supplies, record deficiencies, and more). The App-Ready SmartTag™ could be an important tool for any manager looking to better control location-specific information. I could see this being very useful for monitoring equipment usage, logging inspections, managing punchlist, and communicating project/location-specific information to field teams.
